Old School Cottage is a Victorian period cottage with lots of charm and character. Built in 1851, it is in the heart of a rural village setting. The location

The best thing about this cottage is its stunning rural location. The rolling hills and beautiful surrounding nature make a for a calm, relaxing environment, perfect for a weekend break.
The Cricketers Pub is just a 1-minute stroll down the road and has won a ‘certificate of excellence’ awards on trip advisor for the past 4 years! The pub has been recently refurbished, the food is fantastic, and the selection of ales in this free-house are mouthwatering.
Opposite the cottage is the pitch of the Shroton Cricket Club. During the cricket season, Saturdays can be relaxed away watching a Dorset League game of cricket. The pavilion offers refreshments to enjoy whilst you enjoy the game. Entry is free!
The nearest towns are Blandford or Shaftesbury (famous for Gold Hill used in the Hovis advertisement).
Poole and Bournemouth are the closest large towns. Bournemouth has great beaches and shopping facilities.
